Abigail (Abby) Schwab is a Principal with the Firm, focusing her practice on representing management in the areas of employment law and employment litigation. Her extensive experience in advising and representing clients in various employment law matters makes her exceptionally qualified to support Holcim with its general employment law needs.

Employment Law: Abby has represented clients in discrimination, harassment and retaliation matters before numerous federal and state agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Missouri Commission on Human Rights, Illinois Department of Human Rights, Kansas City Civil Rights Division, Michigan Civil Procedures Commission, Minnesota Department of Human Rights, Nebraska Equal Opportunity Commission, Ohio Civil Procedures Commission, Indiana Civil Procedure Commission, OSHA, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the OFCCP and the United States Department of Labor (DOL) for over 15 years
Employment Litigation: In more than 100 lawsuits, Abby has successfully represented clients in various types of employment litigation, including claims brought under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), USERAA, OSHA and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Abby’s strategic approach to handling complex employment litigation, proven track record, and her professional acumen ensures that legal challenges are managed with the highest level of proficiency and care.
Comprehensive Employment Advisory: Abby’s extensive experience in advising clients on a wide range of employment law issues makes her ideally suited to provide the guidance and support on daily employment issues that our clients need. Abby provides strategic advice on numerous employment issues such as hiring, discipline, termination, employee handbooks and policies, and employment agreements, federal and state wage and hour laws, WARN, FLSA, FMLA, and USERRA. Abby also has substantial experience and expertise in conducting internal investigations covering both federal and state employment laws (including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, FMLA and WARN).
Training and Policy Development: Abby’s ability to advise on employee handbooks, policies, and employment agreements, coupled with her knowledge of federal and state employment laws, position her well to deliver effective training sessions for site personnel, operational leadership, and Human Resource professionals.
